I am Kimberly Randall.

I am a graphic designer, creative thinker, entrepreneur, and lover of vintage furniture and clothing. My approach to design is strategic, innovative and collaborative; my goal with each project is to develop and deliver an engaging and meaningful experience for its intended audience and beyond.

I grew up in a small New England town. After graduation, I followed my passion to study architecture to the eclectic city of New Orleans. When not pulling allnighters in the architecture studio, I explored the diverse culture of the city sampling the local jazz and sipping on mint juleps.

I soon struck out west again and landed in Los Angeles. I graduated from Art Center College of Design in 2001 with Honors, studying both architecture and furniture design before narrowing my focus on graphic design. While at school I traveled to Milan and New York, exhibiting my furniture designs at the Salone de Mobile and International Contemporary Furniture Fair. I draw inspiration from my background in 3D design disciplines (including interior, fashion, and fine arts) and instill this awareness of physical space and interactivity into all of my digital and print projects.

Working freelance for a diverse clientele, I have gained experience throughout all stages of the design process, including conceptual design, information architecture, branding, marketing, animation, art direction, and development. I have blended these experiences as both a designer and developer into an enhanced understanding of interactive design - from the inside out.

In addition to decaf digital, I am the owner & designer of decaf plush, a vintage inspired children's clothing company featuring my own retro animal & fruit illustrations, crafted in felt & appliquéd.

I have a genuine passion for creativity and approach every project with intensity, excitement and fresh ideas. When not at my desk I can be found scouring local antique shops, hunting for exceptional BBQ, or hitting the links.
