About

I'm Kimberly.
I make the internet
a little better.

Decaf Digital is a one-person design practice based in Tucson, AZ, working with founders, editors and small teams around the world. I've been doing this for over 10 years — always solo, always stubborn about the details.

I take on plenty of projects a year but devote real time to each one, from strategy to the last hover state. No account managers, no slide decks pretending to be deliverables — just me, my laptop, and a slight obsession with detail.

For anything outside my wheelhouse — heavy motion, custom illustration, the odd SEO migration — I bring in trusted contractors I've worked with for years. You still get one point of contact: me.

How I work

  1. 01

    Chat

We hop on a call, you tell me everything — the good, the messy, the budget.

  2. 02

    Sketch

I send a written direction and a few concepts within two weeks.

  3. 03

    Design

Two to six weeks of focused design, with weekly walkthroughs and zero surprises.

  4. 04

    Build

I develop the site, building out every page and interaction.

  5. 05

    Ship

We launch, then I stick around for a month to fix the little things.

  6. 06

    Maintain

Need ongoing help? Monthly retainer packages keep your site sharp — updates, tweaks, and fresh ideas whenever you want them.
